Because of our high standards for production, we regularly end up with a few extra Kermit Chairs with their own unique quirks.
These quirks include, but are not limited to:
- Areas with irregular polyurethane
- Corners that have been rounded more than usual
- A dark or light mix of parts
- Intense wood grain or striping
- Wood flaws such as minor chips
To make sure that these fully functional Kermit Chairs and their materials do not go to waste, we list them for sale here.
Additionally, if we receive chairs that have been used and returned within our 30-day return policy, but exhibit a few physical blemishes or markings, these will also be listed on this page after being inspected for damage.
These chairs are sold as-is, without warranty, and replacement parts may be ordered individually from our Parts page. We do not take photos of each chair before listing them for sale, and are unable to give a preview of the item or its specific flaws before it is shipped. Blemishes make every chair unique, and are to be appreciated!
_______________
The Classic Oak Kermit Chair is the premier lightweight wooden camping chair, designed and manufactured unlike any other foldable chair on the market. The Kermit Chair is made in Tennessee from locally-sourced white oak, with aluminum and stainless steel hardware. The wood is double-dipped in marine-grade polyurethane to protect it for a lifetime. We cover our chairs with incredibly durable 1000-denier coated nylon, which we cut with heat to prevent unraveling. The chair comes equipped with its own bag with a handy carrying strap.
The Kermit Chair can be quickly and easily disassembled and packed in its carrying bag to a portable size of 22” long x 6” wide. It can also fold up and be carried with one hand like a traditional camping chair. With a well-established design that has been left untouched for over 30 years, the Kermit Chair remains the finest-built and most comfortable chair any camper can pack.
